Kawehi is a new breed of musician, a one-woman-band from Lawrence, Kansas who uses technology to carry the weight of a full band on her own. She was seen and heard in the Super Bowl 50 commercial for Intel, has landed in publications such as People Magazine, Spin, Esquire, and on the front page of Reddit. Elle magazine has dubbed Kawehi “The Genius One-Woman Band” and HuffPo has praised Kawehi as “Killing the DIY scene.” With over 11 million views on her YouTube channel, Kawehi has been performing to sold out shows across the nation and has already been on three headlining tours. With eight Kickstarter projects under her belt, Kawehi shows no signs of slowing down. Her newest project, EVE – a Sci-Fi Short Film/Visual Album – was funded via Kickstarter in less than a day and is set to release in the Spring of 2017.
From Atlanta, Georgia, Jiggy is a singer-songwriter known for her youthful tone, narrative lyrics, rhythmic guitar playing, and haunting EDM vocals in the Southeast. Starting from singing in church and school, then competing in National Fine Arts- Assemblies of God in 2009-2013, Julianna (Jiggy) began her own songwriting and officially started playing original live music in Atlanta in 2015.
Since then, Jiggy has played at over 14 Atlanta venues including Eddie's Attic, Hardrock Cafe, Smith's Olde Bar, and Vinyl. In 2014, she made her first debut playing at Vinyl with theSAGAS during "Love Fest". In 2015, she performed on the main stage at Imagine Music Festival with an EDM vocal performance. In 2016, Jiggy played Imagine Music Festival's Six Feathers Sound Stage followed by an EDM vocal performance. Later that year, she headlined at her first official acoustic festival: Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward Fall Fest, created by Rival Entertainment.
Jiggy plans to continue developing as a local artist and experiment with her love of both full-band acoustic music and melodic electronic music. She plans to have her first EP "Glimpses" out in 2017 following a handful of gigs in Atlanta. Follow Jiggy as she continues to learn and create.
