THE ICARUS ACCOUNT
It’s Ty & Trey. We are The Icarus Account, two twin brothers from Florida who love to write and record music. It has been a lifelong dream of ours to tour the country while sharing our music with people so thank you for making that a reality. Pursuing this dream has been quite a journey, filled with tons of ups and downs, but we have loved every second of it. We never know quite what to say when we write these “bios.” Supposedly we should brag about how good our new album is or how many cds we’ve sold or tell you the cool bands with whom we’ve toured, but it feels much more personal to just say “thank you so so much for listening.” We are a small operation, two brothers recording out of a home studio in a spare bedroom, yet we have been able to make connections with countless people around the world. As cool as it’s been to hear one of our songs in a TV show or open for some big names, it has been even more meaningful to hear real life stories from people who have been impacted by our music. Whether it’s a fan who used our song “Favorite Girl” to propose to his fiance, or a couple who shared their first dance to “So In Love,” or a high schooler struggling with depression that has been comforted by our song “Mayday;” these stories are a reminder of how powerful music can be and how lucky we are to be able to reach the world by doing what we love. While it’s been a few years since we were 17 year old kids recording our first set of demos, our passion for music and the connection that it brings remains the same. We love writing. We love recording. We love meeting fans for the first time and calling them friends by the end of the night. And we love that you are listening to our music. Thank you for making this all possible.
Woven in Hiatus
Hailing from Boston MA, Woven In Hiatus is an indie acoustic project comprised of singer-songwriter Luke Nagel, bassist Nicolas Casis, guitarists Richard Pingree and Kaleb Thibeau and percussionist Nicholas Aspell. Musically the band puts together a wide array of influences to create a unique blend of indie acoustic, shoegaze, and pop punk with an emphasis on storytelling and emotive lyrics.
Canadian singer/songwriter and social media star Braden Barrie channeled the yearning acoustic emo of Dashboard Confessional into his solo project, SayWeCanFly. Originally created as the name of his social media channel, SayWeCanFly was home to Barrie's early demos, which he began uploading in 2009. Although he grew up listening to hardcore punk and My Chemical Romance, Barrie's music is patient and sweeping, more fitting for a coffee shop than an underground basement gig. He released his debut EP, Heaven Is Hell, in 2013. Two years later, in addition to signing with Epitaph and joining the Warped Tour, he unveiled his first full-length, Between the Roses. Tours with the Ready Set, Tonight Alive, and Set It Off followed. His sophomore effort, Blessed Are Those, arrived in 2016 and debuted at number 15 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
