Melodime's music merges a slight country twang with rock and roll, successfully blending stunning piano melodies with catchy guitar riffs and sing-along choruses.

Melodime, featuring Brad Rhodes (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Sammy Duis (piano, organ, bass), Tyler Duis (drums), and Jon Wiley (guitar, mandolin, dobro, bg vocals), has performed 125+ shows annually throughout the continental United States, sharing the stage with such well-known acts as Sam Hunt, Jonny Lang, A Thousand Horses, and Sister Hazel. The band has also left its mark internationally with performances in Mexico, Canada, and Europe, all while founding and running a charity, ‘Now I Play Along Too,’ which provides musical instruments and lessons to underprivileged children in the DC area, Florida and Haiti. The band is quickly becoming a fan-favorite in the festival scene, playing four consecutive Rock Boat cruises, as well as Musikfest, Herndon Festival and other events. Around their hometown of Northern Virginia, the group has performed at such popular venues as The Hamilton, The State Theatre, and 9:30 Club.

Melodime's latest single, "Little Thing Called Love,” has received a great response from both fans and critics alike. The Boot describe the track as "catchy, lyrically strong - and perfect to listen to with the windows down during the summertime months," while Tune Collective describes the track as a “fun song bursting with vibrant uplifting energy." Kings of A&R featured the band as a buzzing act, and The Washington Post noted "It doesn’t pay for those who want to say ‘I saw them way back when’ to procrastinate." Melodime’s previous albums were recorded with platinum-selling producers, including Where the Sinners & the Saints Collide with Rick Beato (Parmalee, NeedToBreathe), and 3 Reasons For Fighting with Jim Ebert (Butch Walker, Cowboy Mouth).

The Brevet- Passion brought The Brevet together, and it defines their music. Their very name represents a Civil War rank awarded to individuals who went above and beyond the call of duty without the expectation of extra monetary compensation. In other words, The Brevet traditionally act out of their passion for and dedication to music. That spirit courses through their songs, and it’s the reason why they’ve quietly built a palpable national buzz.

Since the release of their 2013 independent debut Battle of the Heart, the quintet—Aric Chase Damm [vocals, guitar], Michael Jones [piano], David Aguiar [drums, percussion], Ben Ross [bass], and John Kingsley [guitar]—has landed high-profile placements throughout film and television, including Apple, The Good Lie, Ashby, 90210, Growing Up Fisher, American Idol, The MLB Network and more. They’ve also earned ink in Los Angeles Times, American Songwriter, and OC Weekly, among many others. Their forthcoming 2016 sophomore effort, American Novel, elevates the group’s rock-tinged cinematic Americana sound to heavenly heights.

“We want to take listeners on a journey with American Novel,” exclaims Aric. “Each song blends into the next, weaving together this adventure.

FORMING KICK THE ROBOT IN THEIR EARLY TEENS, THE BAND HAD A VISION OF RETURNING A CERTAIN RAW PASSION TO TODAY’S ROCK MUSIC. “WE ALL GREW UP LISTENING TO MUSIC FROM THE LATE-‘60S AND THE ‘70S, AND THERE’S A REBELLIOUS SPIRIT TO THAT ERA THAT REALLY APPEALS TO US,”

AFTER THE TRIO DISCOVERED THE POWER OF THEIR HARMONIZING AS VOCALISTS—KICK THE ROBOT RECORDED AND RELEASED THEIR DEBUT EP IN 2009. THE BAND ALSO BEGAN PLAYING LOCALLY, STEADILY GAINING ACCLAIM AS A FIERY LIVE ACT AND EVENTUALLY TRIUMPHING AT ATLANTA’S HARD ROCK RISING BATTE-OF-THE-BANDS CONTEST IN 2012. THE FOLLOWING YEAR, AFTER RELEASING MUSIC TO FIGHT THE FUTURE IN APRIL, KICK THE ROBOT EARNED A FAN IN NONE OTHER THAN SIR ELTON JOHN, WHO MET WITH THE BAND AND THEN GIFTED SCARPONE A GUITAR. THE TRIO SOON STARTED WRITING AND RECORDING FOR BLACK MAGIC RADIO STATIC, EXPANDING ON THE VITALITY AND ARTISTRY FIRST SHOWN ON MUSIC TO FIGHT THE FUTURE WITH EVEN GREATER MELODIC GRANDEUR AND MORE DARINGLY PERSONAL LYRICS. AND BY THE END OF 2015, KICK THE ROBOT FOUND THEMSELVES ONCE AGAIN HONORED, TAKING THE BEST LOCAL ROCK ACT AWARD IN CREATIVE LOAFING’S “BEST OF ATLANTA” ISSUE.

WITH THEIR NAME SIGNIFYING A REVOLT AGAINST SOULLESSNESS IN MODERN MUSIC, KICK THE ROBOT ARE DRIVEN BY A SHARED DESIRE TO MAKE MUSIC THAT SHAKES UP LISTENERS AND DEFIES EXPECTATION. “WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT ROCK & ROLL IS THAT IT CAN BE SO LOUD AND BRASH AND TRASHY, BUT STILL HAVE THESE GREAT MELODIES AND SO MUCH SUBSTANCE.. IT GOES AGAINST EVERY IDEA OF WHAT MUSIC’S SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE—BUT IT STILL JUST FEELS SO GOOD.
