AUSTIN COLEMAN
A singer-songwriter born and raised in western North Carolina, Austin Coleman grew up to the sounds of southern rock, classic rock, and folk-country music. His inspirations span from classic artists such as the Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seger to a more modern variety such as Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, and Band of Horses. With expressive melodies that mirror his genuine style of writing, Coleman aspires to move listeners through heartfelt messages with a delivery that appeals to lyrical enthusiasts.

Coleman’s first album, “Tusquittee Rain,” was released in early 2016 and features a mix of sounds from roots rock to folk and Americana. The album touches on the struggles and triumphs involved in adapting to the changing landscape of young adulthood. “Tusquittee Rain” is dedicated to Coleman’s bandmate and friend, Matt Butler, who passed away in 2012 after a hard-fought battle with lupus. The album features two songs that were co-written with Butler, including the first single off the album, “Queen Without a Throne.”

Coleman will release his second solo album, “Long Mile From Home,” on August 10th, 2018. The album tackles a variety of topics including conflict, heartache, addiction, reflection, personal growth, resilience, and gratification. The album shares some similar folk rock ideas as his first album, but boasts a more vintage and nostalgic vibe.
