Raised in the vibrant cultural rhythms of Atlanta, DocturDot was immersed in a wide array of musical influences from an early age. His father introduced him to the driving beats of Miami bass and Uncle Luke, giving him an early sense of rhythm, energy and Southern musical identity.  With those early influences, gave DocturDot an instinct for bounce, cadence, and performance, shaping his dynamic artistry.  While attending Mays High School, DocturDot met Johnny Venus, and their shared passion for music led to the formation of EarthGang. Over the years, EarthGang has released critically acclaimed projects and collaborated with artists including JID, Future, Kehlani, T-Pain, and Ciara. EarthGang has earned recognition such as a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance (“Down Bad”) and a Black Reel Award for Outstanding Original Song (“Collide” from Queen & Slim). Their partnership with Dreamville/SinceThe80s has further amplified their reach, cementing them as one of contemporary hip-hop’s most respected duo acts. DocturDot’s stage presence commands attention and turns every performance into an experience. With four headlining tours under EarthGang, he’s built a reputation for delivering dynamic, high-energy shows that blend precision with spontaneity. His performances have spanned North America, Europe, and beyond, connecting with audiences through authenticity and undeniable charisma. As part of EarthGang, he has also supported major artists, including Gorillaz, Billie Eilish, J. Cole, Clipse, T-Pain, and JID, further expanding his reach and sharpening his craft. DocturDot is pursuing solo projects that showcase his versatility and depth. He has already released two singles this year to debut his artistry. Lead single “Right Now” captures the essence of being fully present, carefree, confident, and enjoying the moment. Follow-up single “Avant Garde,” featuring South African artist FLVME and produced by SuperMiles, is bold, colorful, and raw showcasing a balance of controlled chaos. His upcoming debut album, Howl at the Moon, is positioning him as a leader in his craft.
