Having chalked up over fifty years at the peak of the music and entertainment industry, Justin Hayward’s voice and guitar playing has been heard the world over. Though his song catalogue contains many of the most influential songs in popular music, Justin is not one to rest on his laurels. He continues to perform regularly, both here and in the US – and will tour the UK and the USA in 2025.
Known principally as the vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for The Moody Blues, his is an enduring talent that has helped to define the times in which he worked. Possessing one of the most distinctive voices in rock music, as well as being the driving force behind The Moody Blues, Justin penned classics like ‘Nights in White Satin’, ‘Question’, ‘New Horizons’, ‘I Know You’re Out There Somewhere’, ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, ‘Story In Your Eyes, ‘The Voice’ and ‘Your Wildest Dreams’.
‘Nights in White Satin’ continues to be covered by other recording artists all over the world, most recently having chart success with Planet Funk, and the song has featured in several movies including Martin Scorseses’s ‘Casino’, Robert de Niro’s ‘A Bronx Tale’ and ‘Shattered’, directed by Wolfgang Petersen.
Over the last five and a half decades the band has sold upwards of fifty-five million albums and, along with Justin as a solo artist and writer, received numerous awards. In 2018 Justin was inducted into the world-famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the other Moody Blues’.

is regarded as one of the world’s finest modern acoustic guitar players. He was voted ‘Best Acoustic Guitarist in the World’ by Total Guitar Magazine & MusicRadar twice consecutively in readers polls, with three additional 2nd place rankings.

His solo music, littered with nuances and micro-techniques, has seen him tour almost every continent on the planet. He has recorded with multiple grammy award-wining and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inducted artists, featured on international film, TV and video games (such as Better Call Saul & Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown) and achieved over 100 million music video hits online for his solo covers of songs including Somebody That I Used To Know, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, Jump & One as well as his originals The Impossible, Boogie Shred & more.
Additionally, Mike often tours as lead guitar player for Justin Hayward, performing The Moody Blues classics throughout the world. He has also teamed up with grammy-nominated Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo and ex Sunrise Avenue multi-platinum producer Jukka Backlund to form Nik Mystery, a Las Vegas popwave trio. Other collaborators include Tommy Emmanuel, Plini, Nick Johnston, Fink, Alestorm & Dr. John.
