Sy Ari Da Kid
Sy Ari da Kid, born Sy Ari Brockington, is a prolific Atlanta-based singer/rapper and producer whose music seamlessly blends trap and smooth, Auto-Tune-laced R&B. His tense, dramatic songs frequently reflect on relationships, heartbreak, and other personal issues, as well as current events and the struggles of street life. Brockington debuted in 2011 with The Ultrasound and issued over a dozen efforts that decade, including 2016’s B4 the Heartbreak and 2019’s Emancipation Proclamation. His output in the 2020s has been just as bountiful, with full-length projects such as A Toxic Heartbreak and Alone But Not Lonely.
Derez De'Shon
Derez De’Shon has quietly had one of the most successful runs of any underground urban artist due to the mass acclaim of his first billboard hit “Hardaway,” off his 2018 project – Pain. The track did so well that 2 Chainz, DJ Envy, and Yo Gotti jumpped on the official remix. The album Pain had also featured Ralo, Birdman, and Mozzy. De’Shon is in a distribution deal with Venice Innovation labs owned by music mogul and investor “Troy Carter” and managed by The Connect Entertainment. Derez’s influence has been massive amongst the current generation (lil Tjay, Rod Wave, A Boogie, Roddy Ricch) and has been dubbed the Godfather of this entire Pain-Rap movement currently topping the urban and global charts. Since his debut album Pain (2018), De’Shon has gone on to release Pain 2 & Pain 3 which charted on the Billboard 200 chart, and had features from Lil Baby, Russ, Mozzy, YFN Lucci, Moneybagg Yo, A Boogie wit da hoodie, Lil Boosie, and lil Durk, with executive production from London On Da Track and 808 Mafia boss, Southside. Currently, the Southside Atlanta native has just released 4 brand new singles this 2021, “In My Feelings”, “Residue” Ft. East Atlantas own Money Mu, All Them Days” Ft. Morray, & “Abandoned” which have yet to leave the city’s club and radio rotations.
