D Smoke

Smoke gained global notoriety in 2019 as champion and undisputed breakout star of Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow by showcasing his authenticity, lyricism, and diverse musicality. His initial offering after the show, Inglewood High EP, hit the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Charts – landing at #3.

His debut full-length album, Black Habits, boasts features from Snoop Dogg, Jill Scott, Ari Lennox, his brothers SiR and Davion Farris, and mother, Jackie Gouché. The album’s critical acclaim earned a 2021 GRAMMY-nomination for Best Rap Album, and he received a second 2021 GRAMMY-nomination, Best New Artist. Smoke also received a NAACP Image Award Nomination for Outstanding New Artist.

He released War & Wonders in 2021, spotlighting Inglewood’s internal wars, being in love, and battling self when divergent forks in the road appear while on the continuous journey of learning, self-discovery, and evolution. Guest features include John Legend, Ty Dolla $ign, Fireboy DML, and others.

In the midst of lending his creative prowess to various features and numerous GRAMMY-nominated projects between his own albums, Smoke earned his third GRAMMY-nomination with Robert Glasper’s Shine ft. Tiffany Gouché.

The untraditional triple-threat is excited to hit the stage and invite fans into his world while he performs fan favorites, his biggest records, and new music off of his upcoming 3rd full length album, Wake Up Supa, before hitting the small screen in Mayor of Kingstown and publishing his first novel.
