Born and raised in Padova, Italy, in the mid-1970s, he embarked on a musical journey that led him to New York City, where he honed his jazz skills and collaborated with various artists. Throughout his career, Cappellato has explored diverse musical genres and cultures. He has collaborated with Brooklyn MCs in hip-hop projects, traveled to Senegal to engage with local music masters, and worked with experimental electronica and techno artists like Rabih Beaini, Maurice Louca and Donato Dozzy.
