Hana Bryanne is an American singer and writer. Her latest single “Jesus Or Harrison Ford,” out April 26th, is a meditation on desire and masculinity, and a foray into new sonic territory with a buoyant twang. Raised in Northern California on Springsteen and country radio, Bryanne’s lyrics find a home in iconic landscapes, from the endless plains that line the 5 freeway to Joan Didion’s Malibu deck — built by Harrison Ford himself. For fans of Waxahatchee, Gillian Welch, and William Faulkner, former ballerinas, cowgirls who can’t drive stick, and pseudo-intellectuals who wear jeans. Hana is currently based in Los Angeles.
